I have suffered with hypothyroidism for 29 years and have gained a substantial amount of weight. Two months ago (11/6/09), I did my usual bloodwork for my thyroid and the level was 8.78. I began taking MaxGXL on 11/16/09. My next scheduled blood work was 1/9/10, and my level had dropped to 1.32. Normal is .4-4.0. I have been prescribed Armour (150 mg.) for many years after rejecting the Synthroid. Instead of having to return for bloodwork in two months, I am scheduled to return in 6 months, and I look forward to not having to take any more medication one day soon.
