Although common things like a light warm-up every morning is good, it always makes sense to read from an expert and from someone who has been through all of it himself. I would absolutely love to read this book.

I agree with Lee from lapelpinsuperstore. I also ride a motorcycle and it can be hell on a back especially as you get older. I find stretching and working out regularly helps reduce back pain and incorporating massage therapy helps a great deal.

I find one of the best ways to help keep my back pain free for the most part is massage therapy on a somewhat regular basis. once a month or every other month can do wonders. I ride a motorcycle and my back can get kinks like I never imagined. But a couple massage sessions really help to work the knots out and help me to be functional again.

Diet is the most important factor for a healthy life. Back pain usually occurs in people who handles their daily work without care of their diet and health.

Great suggestions. I struggled with chronic back pain for years and relied on muscle relaxers and other meds to just get by day to day. The problem with meds on a regular basis is that it affects the mind and body in bad ways that can have lasting detrimental effects in the long run. A healthier alternative or holistic approach might have been a better option in my situation.

Avoiding Chronic back pain starts with good preventive maintenance. Incorporate a regular routine for better health by cleaning up your diet, exercising daily and getting enough rest. This can go along way in helping to reduce any type of chronic pain or illness.

With any health problem or illness its always best to start with natural remedies. Just watched a piece on how fybromyalgia patients who were in chronic pain were advised to stop all their pain medication and start an intensive bootcamp with exercise routines for 8 hours a day. Patients were not only able to overcome the pain but they were able to do so much more in leading normal lives due to the exercise routine. Otherwise they would still be wasting away on meds.

Alternative solutions to health problems are always somewhat tenuous in application, but this solution appears to have a nice middle ground between expensive fixes and holistic approaches. Decreasing back pain begins with making health improvements in all aspects of one's life.
