Sounds like a good buy. It is not easy for a newbie to set up a saltwater aquarium. http://1fishart.com

For Home Marine Mixed Reef Fish Tank Aquariums I suggest a fully featured, plug-and-play reef aquarium that makes reef keeping easier than ever before.
The Red Sea MAX combines all of the technology necessary to grow and maintain a healthy reef in an elegant aquarium, giving aquarists an opportunity to focus on the joy and beauty of the hobby rather than on the complications associated with component selection and installation.

I agree salt water tanks are harder to maintain depending what its kept in. It can corrode very easily leaving you with leakages or rotting.

Salt water tanks are the best out there. Although its a lot harder to maintain then fresh water there is really no comparison.
